What regulation on fluorinated greenhouse gases means in practice
EU Regulation 517/2014 (F-gases) requires regular leak checks of cooling equipment containing fluorinated refrigerants. Deadlines: 5 tCO₂eq → 12 months, 50 tCO₂eq → 6 months, 500 tCO₂eq → 3 months. Only a technician certified under Section 10 of Act No. 73/2012 Coll. May carry out the inspection.
